Dan Brown was born in New Hampshire in June 1964, graduated from Amherst and the Phillips Exeter Academy before beginning his career as a novelist, spent his time working as a teacher of English.
His first novel was “The Digital Fortress”, who wrote in 1996, touching the subjects of codes and secret agents. Set both in the United States and in Spain.
After “The Digital Fortress”, ” Angels and Demons” came in 2000, after “The conspiracy” and the “Da Vinci Code”. Already has that in his latest novel is called The Spanish lost symbol (The Solomon key), will appear in spanish in september of 2009.
The books ” Angels and Demons”, “Da Vinci Code” and “The Solomon Key” compose a trilogy in which the main character is Robert Langdon.
The character of Robert Langdon, is a professor of religious art and symbolism from Harvard, acting more as an investigator in the case vaticano like angels and demons, which faces the Iluminati, as in the Da Vinci Code , which also faces the church, compared to the discovery of a truth that can bring down the Catholic Church.
It has become most famous Dan Brown, his novels have since been made into a film directed by Ron Howard and embodying the character of Professor Robert Langdon, the actor Tom Hanks, but for many it is far from the film quality Dan Brown’s novels.

Dan Brown nacio en Nueva Hampshire en junio de 1964, graduado de Amherst y de la Academia Phillips de Exeter, antes de comenzar su carrera como novelista dedicaba su tiempo a trabajar como profesor de ingles.
Su primera novela fue La Fortaleza Digital, que la escribio en 1996, tocando los temas de los codigos y las agencias secretas. Ambientandola tanto en los Estados Unidos como en España.
Luego de La Fortaleza Digital vinieron Angeles y Demonios en el 2000, luego La Conspiracion y el Codigo da Vinci, en los cuales el personaje principal es Robert Langdon, ya que tanto el Codigo Da Vinci, Angeles y Demonios y su ultima novela El simbolo perdido conforman una trilogia teniendo al profesor Robert Langdon como personaje principal.
Ya tiene su ultima novela que en español se llamara El simbolo perdido ( The Solomon key ).
El personaje de Robert Langdon, es el de un profesor de simbologia y de arte religioso de Harvard, que actua mas como un investigador de casos en el vaticano como en Angeles y demonios, que se enfrenta a los Iluminati, como en el Codigo Da Vinci, en que se enfrenta tambien a la iglesia, frente al descubrimiento de una verdad que puede hacer caer a la Iglesia Catolica.
Se ha hecho mas conocido Dan Brown, desde que sus novelas han sido llevada al cine, encarnando el personaje del profesor Robert Langdon, el actor Tom Hanks, aunque para muchos dista mucho lo que es la pelicula de la calidad de las novelas de Dan Brown.
